Eden Glick, a Hebrew Academy graduate who is currently serving a year and a half as a lone soldier in the Israeli Defense Force, was invited to enjoy the first night of Sukkot and attend a meal at the house of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. She was one of three lone soldiers handpicked out of thousands by IDF officials. “It was truly a once in a lifetime experience,” Glick said. “I loved how it felt like a family meal. It was only us and the Netanyahu family. No government officials or political conversations.”
