Humans of RASG, similar to Humans of New York, is a verbal snapshot of the people who make up our high school. Each human is asked to speak about themselves at length, and their monologue is recorded and transcribed verbatim. In order to keep it real, nothing is left out.
Liel-Or Vaknin (12th)
“Hi I’m Liel-Or Vaknin. I’m in 12th grade. I’m from Sderot. I joined Hebrew Academy in 10th grade, and I have one sister in 10th grade here right now, Lihen. I have a dog, it's a yorkie. I’ve lived in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos, because of my dad’s job, and was born in Israel. It's very pretty there. The water in Turks and Jamaica is gorgeous. It's like living on vacation. I was a kid I could do whatever I wanted. I like reading a lot. Like I like reading books; my favorite is Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover, such a good book. My favorite food is steak. I like hanging out with friends, seeing people, hanging out around Miami, driving around, very normal hobbies. I like very social things, like hanging out with people. After high school I plan to go to UCF, hopefully, do Pre Med, and eventually become an anesthesiologist.”
