Humans of RASG

IMG_20190524_103928

Humans of RASG, similar to Humans of New York, is a verbal snapshot of the people who make up our high school. Each human is asked to speak about themselves at length, and their monologue is recorded and transcribed verbatim. In order to keep it real, nothing is left out.

Eliot De Paz (11th) 5/22/19

My name is Eliot De Paz and I’m a junior at Hebrew Academy. I am Jewish. Let’s see, what else is there. I’m interested in stocks because I like to make money, and I like to do things that cost money. I started investing before 9th grade, but it wasn’t serious, and in 9th grade I was bored in class and started to do research and I found out that it interested me and it was pretty easy for me to do. I make good money off of it. I moved from France when I was younger, and I moved around a lot in California and Miami. I tend to do nautical things like boating and going to the beach. I like some subjects in school. I like math and history, if they were well taught, and I like creative writing sometimes. I have an Australian Shepherd named Blue who, if someone wants to babysit, you can tell me because no one wants to babysit her. She barks and doesn’t stop jumping on people. She’s on you the whole time. It’s a nonstop thing. I don’t want other pets and I don’t even want the dog that we have, to be honest with you. All Blue does is spontaneous barking and we go on vacation less because of her. So if anyone wants to buy the dog they can as well.
