2018 Seniors Graduate

IMG_1736

As family, friends, and faculty looked on from their seats in the auditorium, the 27 Hebrew Academy seniors accepted their diplomas and ceremonially moved their tassels from right to left, marking the momentous transition into adulthood. Sincere speeches given by members of the administration and leaders in the Hebrew Academy community offered advice and good wishes for the seniors in their future endeavors, further contributing to the emotional atmosphere. Valedictorian Caleb Katz and salutatorian Rina Reich thanked their families and classmates for shaping them into the people they have become. The seniors thanked the faculty, college guidance counselors, maintenance staff, and their coaches for their tireless efforts in ensuring their success. Rabbi Assaraf and Dr. Lieber read a blurb for each senior as they walked off the stage as graduates. The ceremony culminated in a heartfelt rendition of Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me” with accompaniment from the band, along with the iconic graduation cap toss.
