Humans of RASG, similar to Humans of New York, is a verbal snapshot of the people who make up our high school. Each human is asked to speak about themselves at length, and their monologue is recorded and transcribed verbatim. In order to keep it real, nothing is left out.
Ari Assaraf (10th)
Hi, I’m Ari Assaraf and I’m in 10th grade. I left Krop last year to come to Hebrew Academy because I wanted a better Jewish education than just having one on my own in public school. I play football for the school and I’m going to try out for JV and if there’s a soccer team I’ll try out also. I’m really happy with my decision in changing schools. My favorite food is sushi and really every type of fish. I love working out and listening to music, especially rap. I was born in Panama City Beach, Florida and moved down here when I was five. I now live in Aventura. I have an older brother and a little sister; I’m the middle child. My father is from Israel and mother is Morrocan.
