Humans of RASG, similar to Humans of New York, is a verbal snapshot of the people who make up our high school. Each human is asked to speak about themselves at length, and their monologue is recorded and transcribed verbatim. In order to keep it real, nothing is left out.
Yair Link (11th)
Hi, my name is Yair Link and I’m in 11th grade. I like sports, I think I’m an athletic person. I moved from a place called Chile, where I was born. Most Americans don’t even know where it is which offends me a little bit. Hebrew Academy is a different school than what I had in Chile. It’s bigger in the number of students. I have one brother and one sister. Out of school, I like to cook, read, and I also like to play tennis, table tennis, soccer, and pretty much a bit of everything. My favorite type of food is barbeque. I used to have pets in Chile. I had 3 dogs and fish. My parents didn’t like them, so now I don’t have any, but it’s fine because I don’t want to have them. After high school, I think I might study law. I like to watch Flash and Cobra Kai.
