Students Celebrate the Superbowl

This past week, the Warrior Word asked a few students how they celebrated the 56th Super Bowl.

“I watched the Super Bowl game at a friend's house with a few kids from my grade. My favorite super bowl dish I had was pizza. I was rooting for the Bengals. The game did not live up to my expectations since, sadly, the Bengals ended up losing, and there were bad refs. My favorite super bowl commercial was the Coinbase one with the QR code that hit the corner. I liked Snoop Dog's performance in the halftime show.” Jacob Hackmon (9th)

“For the Super Bowl game, I went to my friend's house and watched it with a bunch of friends from my grade. My favorite food would probably be pizza. I honestly didn’t really care which team won but I did make a prediction that the Ram’s would win which they did so the game definitely lived up to my expectations. I thought the halftime show was really good. My favorite part was Eminem’s performance since he was the craziest and the best.” Lizzy Ebner (9th)

“I watched the Super Bowl at Dovid’s house with a few friends from the game. My favorite Super Bowl dish would be burgers. I was rooting for the Bengals so the game did disappoint and didn't live up to my expectations because they lost. The most interesting commercial was the one with the QR that was moving. I was not a big fan of the halftime show but if I had to choose, my favorite performer would have to be Snoop Dogg.” Eli Menaged (10th)

“I watched the super bowl at Dovid's house with kids from my grade. My favorite super bowl dish there was chicken fingers. I too was rooting for the Bengals but the game in general still lived up to my expectations and I enjoyed watching. The Coinbase commercial was my favorite. I honestly did not watch the halftime show but heard Snoop Dogg and Eminem were featured.” Jacob Assaraf (10th)

“I watched the Super Bowl game at my house with my grandfather. The best food there was probably hot dogs. I was rooting for the Rams which made the game so good and lived up to what I expected. The Dr. Strange commercial was my favorite but the Coinbase one was really good too. I really did enjoy the halftime show, especially Snoop Dogg's performance. I feel like it really made the halftime show much better.” Moshe Dov Lachs(11th)

“Along with a few kids from my grade, I watched the game at David Saka’s house. My favorite food there was barbeque food. I was rooting for the Los Angeles Rams. The game was pretty good but to be honest, it could’ve been better but I was happy with the result. My favorite commercial was probably the Coinbase one. I thought the halftime show was okay, not great. Snoop Dogg's performance made the halftime show better.” Spencer Lehmann (11th)

“I watched the game at my house with my family. Pizza would probably be my favorite Super Bowl dish. I was rooting for the Rams. The game lived up beyond my expectations and I also made money on the game. The Southwest commercial of them doing the Rube Goldberg machine where the ball flying into the barbeque was my favorite commercial. I loved the halftime show but I thought they should’ve ended with Eminem.” Robert Zohar (12th)

“For the Super Bowl game, I was at my house. My favorite Super Bowl dish was tacos. I was going for the Bengals. The game clearly did not live up to my expectations since they lost. The best commercial was the Coinbase QR code one. I thought the halftime show was good but my favorite performance was Mary J. Blige’s.” Rapha Safdie (12th)
